    The frequencies (cycles per second) of the audible vibrations are between 20 Hz and 20000 Hz.

    sound waves come in different waves(if you think of the waves on the sea,now imagine the tops of those waves,this is the frequencies) the closer the waves the higher the frequency and visa versa the farther away the waves the lower the frequency.
