          Because he is known as the son of God. Some believe he is God. I believe neither. He was a messenger, a mortal man who died and was made a God by the believers.

              My guess is sat on the right side of His father God ,because He was made the righteousness for men kind , had He sat on His left side maybe mean we would of been all doom, something like black and white opposite to each other.Also could be that He gave us a choice in life to be good to each other or be bad and selfish and full of pride.
