    I need to know the best route to drive through the States on the Interstates while avoiding New York city please.

      I've never made the trip myself but Google maps offers 3 different routes. Click here to see the map and routes and pick the one you like.  


      I would choose this one I think:

        If you have the addrees then go to mapquest and put the addresses in and it will show you the best routes to take
