    do i need to reprogram the ecu in a 2004 nissan maxima when you replace the transmission

    I replaced the transmission in my 2004 maxima and i'm still having shift problem a shop was telling me, i need to reset the ecu is this true of fals. the car only has a hi gear in 5?
