      fyi, whirlpool bought maytag in 2006. maytag was a terrible machine (washers,dryers,fridges,stoves) between 1992 and 2006

        Thought I could get a bearing for it .... It has actually been a real trooper.....thousands of loads...getting noisy...

        throw it out and get a direct drive whirlpool made washer. best washer if you only want it to wash clothes. very affordable and very inexpensive repairs. all this and it washes your clothes. 500.00 or less. your welcome
