    craftsman lawn tractor#917.275751, trouble starting

    on above tractor , changed the battery, ignition switch, selenoid, had t he starter


    cheched out ,it stilll will sometime start, and sometime not.


    i turn the key to start, and it is dead, then will start, intermittantly


    when i put a charger on , it will usually start. questionable, what else can i do

      There's a bad connection in the wiring,  and it is probably in the vicinity of the cables coming off the battery. Did they get damaged? Is the ground not rusty where it connects to tractor? Is there a safety switch under the seat that is not making contact?
