    How are you going to pass your algebra tests if we answer all of your homework Qs ???? And then how will you explain to your teacher that you got all of your homework correct but failed the tests????

    4[(x-2) + 5] -3x = -2(x+5) - 4x

            (x -2 + 5) - 3x

                (x + 3) - 3x

               4(x + 3) - 3x

                4x + 12 - 3x  >  4x + -3x + 12 = x + 12

    Left side:  x + 12

    -2(x + 5) - 4x

    -2x - 10 - 4x  >  -2x + -4x - 10 = -6x - 10

    Right side:  -6x - 10

    Put the problem back together with the calculations of the right and left sides.

         x + 12 = -6x - 10  >  cancel out -6x on the right by adding +6x to the left.

                                            cancel out +12 on the left by subtracting -12 to the right

    x + 6x  + 12 - 12 =  -6x + 6x  - 10 - 12

                       0                   0

                          7x    =    -22

                          7/7   =   -22/7

                             x    =    -22/7
