Do we apply for a pell grant after the FAFSA is completed or is that something that just is applied?

I do not undersstand if we apply for a pell grant or does the school put in for it? and if we apply wherer is it I go to online.

when you are answering questions during the fafsa process, they will automatically apply for all grants that you are eligible for. They base this on income, living situations, grade averages, choice of major, etc. some career choices such as education careers have extra grants automatically given. After completing your fafsa, you should be able to view the grants that you qualify for. No, you shouldnt have to apply additionally for a pell grant.
