How old is the Kindle? If it's within the warranty ring or contact Kindle help via the Amazon website - you can live chat to them over the internet so it won't cost you anything! My 3 month old kindle screen went funny last weekend, Amazon have replaced it, and taken away my old one - the new one arrived on Wed, and that was with a BH in between!
