I am assuming you are referring to a microwave oven??? Yes, there is at least one thermal fuse/switch, and is probably located under the top cover of the microwave. Some of these will automatically reset after it cools down, some will have a reset button them, but others have to be replaced. To access them you must remove the metal cover around the oven.
