Creating a shortcut on a desktop can be done in a few ways. The easiest one is probably going to the program's folder, in this case Google Chrome, through the 'Start' button, or by opening the folder of the program. Dragging the starting icon of Google chrome from its folder to the computer's desktop creates a shortcut.
