Two ideas, Cover all all fruits/vegetables with protective netting to cut out protential scores of food.Empty all bird feeders and water baths. Taking these away will make your house and garden less appealing to the Magpies.
You could inflate Mylar balloons and aluminum pie tins three feet above the ground near your garden. As the wind blows, sunlight will reflect off the metallic surfaces will scare them away. Good Luck.
