      Tell him what the family have been up to, what plans you have in mind and you think of him every day, you miss him terribly and you can't wait for his safe return.

        I think you should ask your grandson what is the army like for him, tell him about your life and others in your family, say you hope he is doing well and that you wish to see him soon.
