      Divide:  4/12 = 0.333333333.............


      Move decimal point to the right two places.


      Answer:  33.3%

        In fact  there is not a perfect answer to this Q.


        The no of 0.333333333..... are according to your calculator displaying digits.Mine can show 10 digits.


        It is suitable for many ordinary calculations!

          well.  i was in advanced math sence 1st grade. so i know what i am doing. first you reduce the fraction 4/12 by 4/4 which is 1/3. then  you multuply 1/3 by 33.33/33.33 because 33.33 x 3 is the closest you can get to 100, 99.99 and all fractions are out of 100. so, 33.33/99.99 is 33%. or in simpler terms, 4/12 is 33%
