As a Doolittle I was born knowing exactly what my purpose would be!!! However, my parents are not Doolittles (sad, I know) and they tried to convince me otherwise...which worked for a while!!! But never for too long!!!
You see, everyone is born with a distict love and attraction to something. The longer you deny it the tougher life will be!!! What do you love??? Animals, Astronomy, Politics, Art, History, Your God????

Ok your response to Ben changes things a bit.... I have been exactly where you are now. Bad place to be. I'm sorry you feel so down and out! First, promise me that before you hurt yourself or anybody else you will call a crisis or suicide hotline!!!! Second, your medication either hasn't started working yet, the dose needs to be changed, or a new med needs to be tried. Third, I apologize..I thought you were a young adult looking for a career. Fourth, You are NOT alone! Your kids and grandkids are probably busy (if they even live near by), you p®obably still miss your husband, and lonliness hurts!!!!! Please consider calling your doc. about your medication. If you feel up to it, look into counseling or activities you like ( I have little $ and know this can be a challenge). AND Please come back to this site...we have a bunch of regulars here! We have a lot of fun!!!
