    Who is the next best male singer of this generation, and is Adele the best female singer?

    It seems there are few, if any great male vocalists these days.  Although I think Bruno Mars is one.  Any others?  To clarify:  This generation means from now 2012 until at least the next 20 years.  Other possible prospects are Akon, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Enrique Englesias and Taio Cruz, although I am not a big fan of any of them.  Christina Aguillera and Kelly Clarkson are good women singers, but I'm still searching for the next male superstar singer.  Any ideas?

          Bono from the band U2 perhaps when he dosn't get too political , way ahead of his time even though he has been around the block and back.
