    need to replace the starter of  nissan xterra 2003   how?

      Disconnect the ground wires from the battery, then mark and disconnect the wires to the starter motor, then remove the bolts holding it is place.


      Install a known good starter and reverse the procedure, WBMS


      Be sure to use solid stands before you get under the vehicle!
