    Think "PEMDAS" What you do in order.

    P =  PARENTHESIS

    E =  EXPONENTS

    M and D = MULTIPLICATION and DIVISION FROM LEFT TO RIGHT IN ORDER THE PROBLEM IS WRITTEN.

    A and S = ADDITION and SUBTRACTION FROM LEFT TO RIGHT IN ORDER THE PROBLEM IS WRITTEN.

    EXAMPLE:  1

      6 + (5 * 6) - 3 + (12/6) =

                30                2

    6 + 30 - 3 + 2

    36 - 3 + 2

    33 + 2 =

    35

    EXAMPLE  2

    5^2 -5 + (2*3) / 2

    25              6/2

    25 - 5 + 3 =

    20 + 3 =
