what are the possible reasons for pain in right shoulder that goes down the arm to the fingers

combined with tingling and numbers with a feeling of someone grabbing your arm with thier thumb on one side and finers on other side applying strong pressure for long periods of time cutting of the blood flow hurting worse when arm is hanging down. When arm is held straight up in air the symptons go away. The skin also feels numb. there is at times geat pressure in my chest on the right side.my beathing at times feels labored. This started a couple of weeks ago and is getting worse every day. Do u think it could have to do with a pulled muscle.

You should go see a doctor immediately, as when you mention feeling chest pains...you could be undergoing some serious problems with your heart. GO NOW AND DON"T PROLONG THIS ANY LONGER!!!

Even if it turns out not to be anything major...you don't guess with things like that if you happen to want to stick around for awhile!

Until you mention pressure in the chest and labored breathing, I'm thinking you have a severely pinched nerve. Those other two symptoms, though, belie something potentially far more serious and life threatening. Like ed shank and the doo said......get medical attention NOW.
