hi fat slob! (although I would prefer to call you something nicer! ^-^)

factor V is a protein in the blood that is needed for normal clotting to happen when you're injured.

thrombophilia is an inherited disorder of blood clotting."factor V" is the name given to a specific gene mutation that causes thrombophilia,(sometimes hypercoagulation or a prothrombotic state) is an abnormality of blood coagulation that ups the risk of thrombosis (blood clots in blood vessles).

from what I understand there is no real treatment for thrombophilia, unless it is caused by something like nephrotic syndrome (who's symptoms include, very high levels of protein in urine, a  condition called proteinuria, swelling around eyes, hands, and feet, and high cholesterol)

so, if you can treat the underlying cause, then you can treat the thrombophilia.

I really hope this helps you and I hope you get help for your condition soon!
