    how much are patents for video games?

    I have a video game and I want to share some of my ideas with a friend online, but because I do not have a patent or trademarks and copyrights yet I'm a little worried about them being out there with no protection.I want to know, if I have 40 characters for the game, do I need 40 patents,copyrights and 40 trademarks for them or would they all fall under the same patent, copyright and trademark?

        The thing patents are much a legal thing and should be done only from the experts.The patent attorney is like an identity for your thing to seem unique.A few patent attorney agency will advice you better.
