"Manufacturer helpline and ask them how to diagnose the problem and what a repair..."
There are a number of things that may be occuring. If it happens repeatedly, then chances are that a loose connection or poor weld is becoming detached when the TV heats up. The motherboard in the TV is likely the culprit. If the TV is under warranty, have it reapired. Otherwise, call the manufacturer helpline and ask them how to diagnose the problem and what a repair is likely to cost. You can also call a local TV repair shop for an idea of what is going on and what it would cost to repair. The other possiblity is the XBox, especially if the TV is fine otherwise. The video card may be fried. Test the XBox on another TV. Check the cables too to ensure they are not loose or corroded.
