    Are newborns in the US going to receive their social security benefits when they are retired?

    You don't receive Social Security until you start working...so ask again in about 16 years- maybe we'll know better then.

    You have to work to pay into it to be able to receive it.

    Not always, if you are disabled you can get it without ever having paid into it....

    My daughter got on it after only working less than 3 months.

    Way too many variables to speculate. Lets see if the current generation gets to partcipate first.
