      You don't receive Social Security until you start working...so ask again in about 16 years- maybe we'll know better then.

          You have to work to pay into it to be able to receive it.

          Not always, if you are disabled you can get it without ever having paid into it....

          Hmm- that is interesting because they base your disability money on what you have earned.

          My daughter got on it after only working less than 3 months.
