is this what Allen West really said?
In light of this month being Black History Month, I feel no way involved with this negro celebration of half accomplishments and borderline Communist agendas. View the list of these “fearless” leaders of black America. Black inhabitants of America knew their place at the table, and knew they could not eat off the same plate of the more than welcoming white men and women of the time. These men, I use that term lightly, like Malcolm X pushed themselves into the homes of innocent white Americans. This action riled up the negro, and scared the living hell out of people. I am no way apart of this community of transported Africans, I myself am an American. I’m a good ol’ boy from the great state of Florida, and a citizen of this great nation. I know God recognizes me as my true self, a proud, strong white man given dark pigmentation. God had to give the blacks at least one intelligent person, so he chose to give me dark skin. I curse my birth as a black man every day. I’m black by birth, not by choice. It will all be sorted out when my name is called, and I step in front of the great white Jesus himself

Perhaps, but God made us all and in many colors.
I too am a black man, but I made the effort to earn a degree in Engineering, from one to the nations best Engineering schools, after WWII.
I obtained good positions with several of the countries leading auto manufactures for over thirty years.
When I retired I obtained a position with one of the nations leading automobile Dealerhip Groups, as Group Sales Manager.
While in that position I saw a need for an new kind of business. One that could serviced the thousands of fleet vehicles owned by Federal State and local Governments as well as big and small corporate fleets.
I stated with one shop in New Jersey, expanded into the five other eastern states where the Group owed new vehicle dealerships, in less than ten years.
In 2000 I sold MY company for many Millions of dollars.
Say what you want about the US and its treatment of blacks, but nowhere else in the word could I as a back man, or as a white man for that matter, have done what I was able to do with my life.
Th only thing holding down black men in the US are the black men themselves, who do not make an effort to get ahead. Certainly not my white customers or all of the white and blacks that I worked for, or with, during my eighty six years.

I have led a full and productive life, raised and educated five children, have 11 Grand children and four great grand children.
How many people can point to their State Senator, State Representative, one of their US Senators as well as current Presidential Candidate Rick Sanatorium, Mario Andretti, Lee Iaccoca and the original, "Tonight Show" host, Steve Allen as their personal friends and Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey as childhood neighbors?
Lee and I attended the same high school and University and I raced with Mario on the Nazareth Pa. dirt track, back in the sixties. ;-)
