    He was born at 9.03pm on 21st June 1982, at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London. A bulletin announced that the Royal baby weighed 7lb 1 1/2oz.

    Sorry to put a spanner in the works, Prince William, is Duke of Cambridge, his father Charlie is Prince  of Wales.

    Yes thats correct, but he is called William Wales in his job in the RAF as helicopter pilot.

    Thanks Sunny. that's a new one for me. i would have thought his surname to be Winsor, or is this a nick name.

    His last name is Windsor, as it is the House of Windsor. George V (grandfather of Elizabeth II) changed it in 1917 from Saxe-Coburg and Gothe, due to anti-German sentiment during WWI. So his surname was Windsor before he acquired the title of Duke of Cambridge, from his Grandmother, before his marriage.
