I've had the 3230, and it had exceptionally good reception, when they were manufactured with a certain micro chip.. There's not always a good measure of which is better, as your needs and use of it compared to mine, are apt to be totally different. I don't usually text, and I don't care for using the internet on my phone, and I only occasionally use the camera mode.
