Good question...here's an example...I was doing a lengthy fast and the first 5 days nearly killed me because everywhere were ads or signs or venues pushing food...giant billboards with monster gutbombs on them,huge fibreglass ice-cream cone on the roof of one joint,posters of food,and mostly fast food, were at every bloody turn.I noticed this mass media glut long ago.As disturbing as it is, I have always contended that there are only two things churning the economies of this world...peoples' pain or peoples' pleasure.Mass media feeds on these.Peace.
