if it is a honda or acura , you can remove the radio and on the back of it is a 4 digit code or try the dealer that the car came from and may have in in their data base. give them the vin # of your vehicle and they shoul came up with a code. if mot you may have to go to them and ask them to erase the code for good so when you disconnet the battery again this wont happen again. last choise is to go buy another one . good luck
