Grapefruit in moderation is absolutely fine. 1/2 grapefruit with splenda every other day, would pose no risk to a diabetic unless your doctor tells you otherwise.  Grapefruit contains a minute amount of insulin.  The medical field simply erred on the side of caution when they said not to eat vast amounts of grapefruit.

There are some medications affected by grapefruit, are you Type 2 and taking medication? Check with your doctor before you give up something good............

Not true, grapefruit is a fruit which actually may be beneficial for diabetics.

Grapefruit can promote weight loss which in turn helps reduce insulin resistance. Test show grapefruit may also help control insulin levels when consumed during meal times.
