If they have the old facebook page, on the left under their friends list see block/report. Click it to unfriend them or block them.
If they have the new timeline, see (upper right on page) Friends|Subscribed |Message and the little gear symbol. Click the gear symbol and see block/report. Click it to unfriend them or block them.
