    I place a new black toner in the 9970 cdw and the message to replace it remains?

    I tried to remove the message with 2 new toner cartridges with the same result "prepare new toner cartridge K black" What now?

      Then the cartridge is not in correctly or you did not remove the tape from the cartridge head.
