    can the brake pads be indtalled wrong on a 06 nissan maxima

    there is a strange turbine/vacuume noise coming from the front

      Your brakes can not be installed wrong. They can only go in one way. It sounds to me like the car has a vacuum  leak. You need to bring it to a mechanic. It shouldn't cost too much.
