    God, what a mess. This is really funny!

    About the only way hair would keep a racoon out of the garden, is if it was still attached to the person who grew it! LOL!  You'd probably have better luck putting a low strung double row of electric fence around it. If it keep cattle in, it'd most likely keep critters out. 

    The theory is human odor.  Racoons could give a hoot about people smell.  That is one smart critter.

    No bunzy it does not!  I just asked a similar question and aside from getting a dog most folks said that using mothballs or ammonia soaked rags placed strategically will help keep the little varmints at bay!!Good luck!
