Daren's dog must be a lay around dog! Our dog is too, unless someone walks down the road or rides a bike. Then he's barking a greeting!

Tell that to working dogs, like sheepherding dogs Dogs that help hunters, therapy dogs. Even the house dog is always on alert for visitors or sneaky animals visiting your neighborhood

I dunno, I mean they chew on sticks, chase balls, bite mailmen, bark at the moon and chase cars-- That's quite a job if you ask me. i wouldn't want their job.. Who said they just sit around all day?? It's a tuff life being a dog.

Ah BUT many do like St. Bernards who are busy rescuing avalanche victims, the sled dogs pulling the sleds in the Iditarod, the police dogs who work alongside their human partners, the drug-sniffing dogs in the airport, the guide dogs for the blind!
