how do you change the wiring to the tail lights

i have a 1997 pontiac sunfire and the tail light on the passenger side does not work. It's not the bulb, that has been changed. when you play around with the wire, it starts to work, but once you let it go or after a few movements or a few seconds, they stop working again, so how do i fix this problem?

It a short.. isolate the short. Look at the connector, look anyplace where the wires may rub against metal. Yours is intermittent. Be great if you had a meter.
