    how much weight can a 3 by 3 inches box steel beam (14ft 6 in long) take before it bends at the centre

    depends on the tensil strenght of the steel

    If you are describing a steel  tube, square or rectangle, it doesn't have much strength and it doesn't flex like a wide flange beam.  When it bends it stays bent.  A 3x3x 5/16 wall box at 14'  !MY GUESS! would be 350# and it can't include impact or bounce action.
