    I misspoke, you are corrrect. Calculation of the circumference depends on pi, the circumference divided by the diameter, which is a straight line that runs through the circle's center. Finding a circle's circumference on a calculator depends on knowing its radius, which is half of the diameter


    Multiplying 10 by pi results in approximately the circle's circumference.
