Lederer for instance is unable to use a Witschi timing device on the link Central Impulse Chronometer due to the diversity of link sounds link that are emitted from the watch. There's the constant once-every-five-seconds growl of the remontoires letting loose and rewinding as well as the sound of the "metronome" engaging with the twin escape wheels consistently. It puts out a funky tune. And a Witschi just can't handle it.
