Condusive describes something that brings about or leads to something. An example,favorable weather brings the best for an out door picnic.

Condusive:  goes along with, facilitates (makes possible), is in agreement with
As in Dollybird's example:  Good weather is condusive for an outdoor picnic.

Jack, "conducive", to me, means that conditions are favorable for something else to occur or happen.  For example, "Conditions during the blackout last week were conducive to intimate activities among couples in the city."
