Heat gets rid of bed bugs. When I lived in Asia, where it's riddled with them, people pour boiling water over their furniture or they put it in the sun. But there is an easier way. If you can get a steamer of some kind, you can steam them out of existance. You will need to do it for several weeks as there may be eggs and they will hatch. The eggs are very tiny and hard to see.
