If 'cancel doesn't work, go to control panel, select printers, and cancel it there-- if that doesn't work, you can smack the power switch on the printer, if that doesn't work, yank the plug outta the wall, if that doesn't work, throw it away. But save the paper!!
Just try cancel as Colleen suggests, this should work for you..
