Equality: To be treated equally one must contribute equally. Tolerance: Towards cultural diversity as well as religious tolerance. Respect: Is earned, not a right. Every society should have the right to question the establishment without fear of retribution. Civil unrest occurs when any one or all of the items noted is absent. The slaughter of innocence will continue as it has for centuries past. We are human, and are incapable of sustained peace.
