      open circuit is a circuit which is switched off or has a broken wire in it causing the electricity running through it to stop .


      closed circuit is a complete switched on circuit with no broken wiring contained within it allowing the electricity to flow through it

        YOU CAN ALSO LIKEN IT TO A   LIGHT SWITCH,WHEN ON THE CONTACTS  MAKE,AND THE CURRANT WILL FLOW,CLOSED   THE CURRANT ,{ELECTRICITY} WILL NOT FLOW,RESULT YOU ARE IN THE DARK,
