    what happens to merchandise credit that was not used

    i found unused ann taylor credit i forgot i had when i called they said it is a zero balance due to lack of use....it was for almost 200

      You need to speak with the merchant.  This is akaQA and we answer general questions only.  We do not sell anything.  (I'm guessing that the credit probably had an expiration date but check with them.)

        Realistically they can't hang onto a credit for ever.   Its a taxable income , like inventory
