      Sound like you have black mold.  That is not good.

        Yes, it does sound like a mold problem.

          There are products on the market that will get rid of mold without disassembling your house. You have to find the reason for the mold. If your soffits are closed around the perimeter of your house it will prevent air movement and eventually cause mold to grow do to the high moisture accumulation.
