      The surname Bodie dates back to  tribes in Anglo-saxon Britain,. It comes from an early member of the family who had Striking Physique. Bodie has been spelled many different ways,including;- Body, Boddy, Boddie, Bodie, Bode, Bodhy, Bodin, Bott, Botter, Bods, Botty, and many others. Coat of arms first found in Hampshire where they had a family seat.
