Can dogs drink cows milk? And what do you do about a dog who's afraid of thunder.....?

Our dogs love milk and seems to be good for them, but what do I know? And how do I get my 100 lb. dog to calm down during storms?

a little milk is okay, to much can upset their tummy.

There is a wrap you can buy that hugs a dog tight, it helps when he is scared or nervous. A vet has endorsed it.

In small amounts its ok. Dont give it too ften though, it can cause diarreah. My dogs were afraid of  thunder too. They always jumped on the coutch with me, or in bed with me, if it was thundering at night. I myself are afraid of thunder and lightening and we all huddle together. The dogs fear of  thunder is normal .

Never gave any of my dogs milk. They were all beer drinkers. Thunder scares the s*** out of me. I can understand their discomort.

I think it is funny the smaller the dog , the less frightened by thunder and vice versa, my little miss doesn't blink an eye at thunder , she sits and watches the lightning, as Daisy says a little milk is o.k.

Id water down the milk a little bit cause it could give him/her diarrhea, my dog is terrified of thunder so i just wrap him in a blanket and comfort him.
