    why is my transmission squealin my 1998 ford expidition

    it speals when its in nutral and in drive the squeal goes up with the rpms and it is way worse when it is cold out my truck i while ago got stuck i for wheel low range and i got it into the shop they fixed it so the shirter works again but ever since i got it out of their it the transmission squeals and i dont know y ? it still shirts gears pretty good

      Are you sure the squeal is coming from the tranny and not one of your belts? A tranny does not squeal.

        im sure it is coming from the tranmission or transfercase

        You need to take it back to the shop.

        I still say it's a belt. Have the serpentine belt checked.
