my 5yr. old has a bad cough. is it safe to give my child a puff of Xopenex HFA INH after i gave him a dose 10ml. of Delsym Cough Suppressant?

You need to check with his pediatrician. We're not doctors here. The puffer would have to be something that is prescribed to him.
